Traeger Lasagna

Strapon Mistress Fullerton

Indulge in a flavorful homemade pellet grill lasagna made with layers of hearty meat sauce, creamy cheese, and tender lasagna noodles, all cooked to perfection on your Traeger grill.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can 28 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can 6 oz tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 15 oz ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish optional

Instructions:

Warm up your Traeger pellet grill until it reaches 375F

Put Italian sausage, onion, garlic, ground beef, and heat in a big skillet over medium-low heat

Cook until meat is browned and onions are soft

Get rid of extra fat

Its time to add the tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper

Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring every now and then

Put ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese in a different bowl

Put a little meat sauce on the bottom of a one-time-use aluminum pan

Place 4 raw lasagna noodles on top of the sauce

If necessary, break them up to fit

Put a third of the cheese mix on top of the noodles

Do this twice more, and then add the last bit of meat sauce on top to finish

Cover the top with the last cup of mozzarella cheese

Put a tight layer of aluminum foil over the pan

For 45 minutes, cook the pan on the Traeger grill

Take off the foil and cook for another 15 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling

Rest the lasagna for a few minutes before cutting it up and serving it

If you want, you can add fresh basil leaves as a garnish
